Dear prospective Nanny Family,
My name is Sophie and I'm looking to lend my experience to a welcoming family for a live out position.
I have been a live-out Nanny in Ealing and surrounding areas for 10+ years caring for newborns, teenagers and everything in between but specialising in early years development (0 - 5 years). My most recent job was caring for two lovely little children, a boy aged 2 and 9 month old girl. This was a sole charge position and I worked 40 hours a week. I have been so fortunate to find such incredible families to work for that have really become like extended family to me - I would absolutely love to find another family who I can spend many more happy years with and help bring up their little ones.
I am Enthusiastic, Fun, Nurturing and Trustworthy. I am able to connect on a deep level, build a safe, loving relationship and offer a stable environment for your children. Most importantly I have a genuine love of kids and I love working with children. I truly enjoy what I do and will plan fun, well rounded days for your children. Being silly, finding the humour in everyday situations, and having a upbeat outlook on life. Childhood is all about fun!
I have a CACHE level 3 Diploma in Children and young people workforce, First Aid Certificate, an up to date DBS check, Nanny insured.

My Experience
Having worked as a childcare professional for over 10 years i have been able to build a wealth of knowledge and experience both theoretically through my level 3 childcare qualification and CPD's (Continual Professional Development) and most importantly practically through working in various settings from nurseries and schools to homes as a sole charge nanny.
I have a great amount of knowledge when it comes to dealing with extremely shy and attached children and have a sensitive approach to helping them come into their own and fully embrace both play and learning. As Well as this, skill building, such as potty training, weaning, sleep routines, is an area i am well versed in.
I have also worked with numerous children that had special circumstances including learning difficulties, speech impediments, reflux, severe constipation and food aversion. The experience gained from these particular children has been invaluable and i pride myself on not letting their perceived afflictions or impairment be a barrier to a full and rewarding day.

I got to know Sophie through a friend who highly recommended her.
Sophie worked as a nanny for our dauther for very short time because we needed childcare for less than a month until we could get place in nursery. But even in this short time she managed to find approach to my 1 year daughter, and Sophie taught her how to crawl (my dauther was struggling to figure it out). My daughter enjoyed playing with Sophie and going for walks with her.
Sophie is very punctual, polite, loves children, I would really recommend her!

It’s with great pleasure that we are recommending sophie as a nanny. Sophie has been an amazing nanny for us. She has a can do attitude and will muck in where she needs to even going out of her way to help and organise things that aren’t strictly nanny duties which we are very very grateful to Sophie for, she really is seen as part of the family. My 2 year old boy absolutely adores her and looks forward to seeing what sophie has organised for them to do. My 3 year old daughter is extremely attached to me but since sophie started working with us she’s really built up my daughters confidence and has also encouraged her to be more independent. Watching both my children have the most amazing days out with sophie and seeing how much fun and joy sophie brings to their day makes me feel so comfortable with my decision to return back to work. Sophie always followed our direction in regards to the children’s sleep routine, meals etc. and the children respect her as a authority figure. We still engage with her services on a ad-hoc basis. By hiring sophie as your nanny you can be assured that your children will have well rounded fun filled days and many many playdates that your children will forever cherish and long lasting memories. Any family that hires her will have very fortunate children indeed.

It’s a great pleasure to recommend sophie for a nanny position. Sophie served as a full time nanny for my now 8 year old daughter. She started with us when my daughter was 3 years old. I have to say I am blessed to have had sophie for all these years. I have found sophie to be extremely dependable. She is extremely patient and a very friendly individual. She had put up with terrible temper tantrums during the extremely difficult terrible twos. Sophie has proved how flexible and adaptable she is by taking my daughter to doctors appointments and school plays etc when I have had to work long hours at work. Sophie was recommended to me by a trusted friend and I have never had to worry when leaving my daughter alone with her. I can recommend her strongly for a similar position as I am confident that she will do wonders for any child under her care

Sophie is an extremely hard worker.Her dedication to childcare goes beyond what is asked of her.Sophie is very confident and responsible with all her experience and her qualifications.Sophie will spend time with the children in her charge to have fun but also install some form of stability and discipline within a comfortable surrounding.Sophie is a good cook and her knowledge of age related children milestones is incredible.I have know Sophie for over 8 years ,we are closest of friends and I would leave my child with her anytime without a worry or concern .Sophie is throughervand takes her position seriously with fail.Sophie is punctual ,reliable has a great sense of humour and all the charges she has had have been happy and fulfilled with her as their nanny.I will highly recommend Sophie for any parent out there looking for an honest,truthful and trustworthy nanny who will definitely not let you down.

Sophie was a wonderful nanny for me . She helped me with my two boys , and they really felt comfortable around her . Sophie is honest , reliable and adaptable and was able to create some amazing fun activities that really helped with the children’s development and overall well being .
I would highly recommend her , as a childcare provider, as a nanny ,or for babysitting .
She was also brilliant with light house work ,meal preparation and assisting with homework and grasping concepts .
