My name is Sophie and I'm looking to lend my experience to a welcoming family for a live out position.
I have been a live-out Nanny in Ealing and surrounding areas for over 14+ years caring for newborns, teenagers and everything in between but specialising in early years development (0 - 5 years). My most recent job was caring for two lovely little children, two boys aged 2 years and 9 months. This was a sole charge position and I worked 40 hours a week. I have been so fortunate to find such incredible families to work for that have really become like extended family to me - I would absolutely love to find another family who I can spend many more happy years with and help bring up their little ones.
I am Enthusiastic, Fun, Nurturing and Trustworthy. I am able to connect on a deep level, build a safe, loving relationship and offer a stable environment for your children. Most importantly I have a genuine love of kids and I love working with children. I truly enjoy what I do and will plan fun, well rounded days for your children. Being silly, finding the humour in everyday situations, and having a upbeat outlook on life. Childhood is all about fun!
I have a CACHE level 3 Diploma in Children and young people workforce, level 4 Post Natal Maternity Nurse, Colic and Reflux Specialist, First Aid Certificate, an up to date DBS check and Nanny insured.

My Experience
Having worked as a childcare professional for over 10 years i have been able to build a wealth of knowledge and experience both theoretically through my level 3 childcare qualification and CPD's (Continual Professional Development) and most importantly practically through working in various settings from nurseries and schools to homes as a sole charge nanny.
I have a great amount of knowledge when it comes to dealing with extremely shy and attached children and have a sensitive approach to helping them come into their own and fully embrace both play and learning. As Well as this, skill building, such as potty training, weaning, sleep routines, is an area i am well versed in.
I have also worked with numerous children that had special circumstances including learning difficulties, speech impediments, reflux, severe constipation and food aversion. The experience gained from these particular children has been invaluable and i pride myself on not letting their perceived afflictions or impairment be a barrier to a full and rewarding day.

I’m so pleased to recommend Sophie, who looked after our little boy from six to ten months of
age, twice a week. From the very beginning she was warm, kind, and attentive, and she quickly
built a lovely bond with him.
She made sure his days were full of fun and learning — taking him along to baby classes,
playgroups, and the park. We could see how much he enjoyed his time with her, and we really
valued how she encouraged his curiosity and development in such a gentle, caring way.
As parents, we always felt completely at ease leaving him in her care. She is reliable,
thoughtful, and has a natural way with children that gave us so much peace of mind. Most
importantly, our little boy adored her.
We feel very lucky to have had her support during this stage of our son’s life, and we wouldn’t
hesitate to recommend her to any family looking for someone trustworthy, nurturing, and full of
warmth.

Sophie worked as our family’s nanny from October 2022 to January 2025.
Sophie stood out to us for her professionalism, experience and skills but also her emotional intelligence when discussing our family’s needs and our parenting style. We felt an instant bond with her and since the beginning Sophie has treated our children as if they were her own. Her genuine love and concern for their well-being is evident in everything she does.
Within just a few weeks of starting, Sophie had built a network of nannies and other caregivers. This
initiative has provided our children with a good social network which significantly contributed to their social development, confidence and happiness.
We use her often now for babysitting and she has been nothing but supportive as we navigate parenting with not much 'village' around us! She truly has become part of our family. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sophie to anyone looking for childcare services.

Sohpie had sole charge over my son 3 and daughter 1. She was always punctual, trustworthy and organised age appropriate activities for the kids. They absolutely loved her!!!
