Milkyway
Nanny in Oxford (also available for babysitting)
My Summary
I'm A Privately-Trained Nanny Who Is Kind, Understanding, Professional And Flexible.
About Me
I'm a qualified nanny who understands young children really well and is excellent with babies. My qualification is from Chiltern College, Reading, a 2 year full time/practical nanny course. I have lived overseas with my husband in Africa for the last 15 years. I have 3 children, the youngest now 17. In my early career I was a nanny for HNWI’s in London and overseas.,
My Experience
Before bringing up my own 3 children, I worked as a maternity nurse and nanny for HNWIs. I have worked with babies, toddlers and young children. I have mainly been abroad since then as my husband is a diplomat working for the foreign office. When I lived in Kenya, I set up and managed a montessori-style nursery in my home for 12 children from the expat community. I love children (and they nearly always love me!)

Wendy took care of our two children (ages two and five) every day for two weeks while I was an academic visitor at the University of Oxford. The experience was excellent.
She connected with both children immediately, even though they didn’t speak English, and kept them engaged so they were never bored. Wendy is reliable, kind, funny, and energetic, and she always seemed to know exactly what to do.
She was also incredibly flexible, as each day was different due to my academic schedule. Her support made it much easier to balance family life with my academic commitments, even taking the children to explore colleges while I attended lectures.
It was a pity she wasn’t available any longer during that period.
Would highly recommend.
