About Me
I am a 26 year old female, with 6+ years of childcare experience . I have a degree in Psychology with Child Specialism, as well as varying experience with children from baby to teenager, ranging across home and education settings, as well as SEN.
I have experience nannying as well as teaching. With my most experience being a Nanny-Tutor for a child with autism. I am very hands on and genuinely love the company of children, helped by growing up the eldest of 7 children, so I have always been surrounded by children.
I am a fun, bubbly and approachable individual, who always works hard and is very reliable. I am also very flexible, accommodating and patient, driven by my nurturing personality. I am passionate about supporting the emotional, social and intellectual development of children.
My Experience
Prior to my degree, I worked as a baby sitter, working days and evenings.
I have since gained 2+ years experience nannying for varying families mainly as Ad hoc roles.
As well as this, I volunteer for a children's charity offering daily childcare, worked as a teaching assistant in a school.
Alongside the completion of my degree, in my second year I worked in a year 4 classroom part time, and in my third year, a year 1 classroom. During this time, I also baby sat of an evening for varying families.
After my degree, I became a teaching assistant in an autism specialist school. Leading to my current part time role as a 1-1 SEN Nanny-Tutor.
