Hello there,
My name is Claire. I am a self employed childcare practitioner with over 20years experience and I have cared for many children over the years. I have two little girls of my own and have previously cared for twins/multiple children up to five in one family.
A little boy with autism along with caring for a young adult with Cerebral Palsy. I work in a special
needs school ad-hoc and care for a little boy who is blind during school holidays.
My Experience
I have worked in various roles within the childcare industry, starting as a Nursery Nurse to Nursery Manager and now private nannying. Having cared for baby (twins) to young adults/children with additional needs.
My passion over the years has evolved as I matured within different professional roles from caring for children in a Nursery setting to caring for them in their own home.
To provide parents with support and reassurance. I am passionate about caring for others and being able to provide the support when it comes to meeting life’s basic necessities and have a genuine interest for others well being.
I believe that it takes a strong, caring and kind person to look after and support others and to always have their best interests at heart, being a Carer/Nanny allows me to not only be surrounded by children but to use my skills and knowledge to help develop them in to happy healthy children/adults
