About Me
I am an actor, based in York. As a freelancer, my hours vary a lot, so babysitting helps me fill in the gaps! I have a keen interest and skill in Music - I play the piano, guitar, clarinet and accordion, and am a trained singer. I love working with kids, and will happily engage in board games, imaginary games, arts and crafts, or even sitting down with a film, gauging where it's appropriate to be led by your child or to take the lead myself.
My Experience
Most recently, I've been working as bank staff for Muddy Boots nurseries. This has given me plenty of experience in child development stages, how to uniquely tailor activities to particular children's skills & interests, and how to maintain professional standards of hygiene and health and safety.
I have also been babysitting for 15 years. I have looked after children ranging in age from 9 months to 12 years old.
I have experience in school runs, mealtimes, bath time, bedtimes, homework help, formula milk and sterilisation of bottles, all-day supervision, and overnight stays.
