About Me
A Little About Me
Hello! I’m a 45-year-old mum to two amazing children — my daughter is 14 and my son is 10.
My husband is a full-time mechanical engineer and also holds a full DBS check.
We live in Banstead in a lovely, quiet cul-de-sac close to Oaks Park. We are just a short drive from Banstead Village, Nork, Woodmansterne, Little Woodcote, Chipstead, Carshalton Beeches, Wallington and Purley.
Learning Through Play
I strongly believe that children learn best through play, both indoors and outdoors. My aim is to provide a happy, caring and stimulating environment where children can have fun, explore and develop at their own pace.
I provide lots of opportunities for children to enjoy new experiences. We regularly visit local farms, soft play centres, parks and baby and toddler groups, giving children plenty of opportunities to interact with others and develop their confidence and social skills.
We also love spending time outdoors together. Our activities can include picnics, nature trails, conker collecting, ball games and even our own little sports days during the summer!
Outdoor Fun
At home i have a large garden with plenty to keep little ones entertained including a slide, mud kitchen, sand and water tables and a Step2 roller coaster that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
During the warmer summer months, our splash pad comes out too — an absolute favourite with children of all ages and a great way to cool down while having lots of fun!
Arts, Crafts & Baking
We love getting creative!
I have a wide range of arts and crafts resources, and we regularly make lovely creations using paints, stickers, salt dough, glitter and lots more. There are always opportunities for children to use their imagination and proudly take their creations home.
Baking is another favourite activity. We often make cakes, biscuits and bread, as well as our own pizzas for the children to take home and share with their families.
Healthy Meals
I provide healthy, well-balanced meals suitable for different ages and can cater for a range of dietary requirements.
I also hold an up-to-date Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification.
My home is completely smoke-free.
Above all I want the children in my care to feel happy, safe and welcomed into our home while enjoying lots of opportunities to play, learn, explore and make wonderful memories.

My Experience
I have been a registered childminder since 2015 giving me over 10 years of experience caring for children. During this time i have had the pleasure of looking after children of all ages, from babies through to children aged 10. This experience has given me a great understanding of the different needs, routines and developmental stages of children as they grow.

I have used Claire for 3 years, for my first child and now my second. It’s like a home from home experience! Both my children love her! Claire takes the children out and does lots of activities to keep them busy! Very happy! X

Clare has looked after my child from 12 months old. She is extremely caring, updates me regularly throughout the day and my child absolutely adores her. I could not recommend Clare enough if you are looking for a childminder.

Clare looked after my son from around 18m old until he joined a school nursery. He loved going to her house, he always had so much fun! She often took him on days out or did new activities with him, which was great for his development. He’s now doing excellent as school and had a smooth transition into education. I really can’t recommend her enough.

My son started with Clare at 1 and stayed with her until he was 3 and we moved away. We feel so blessed to have found Clare. Our son absolutely loved his time with Clare, lots of cuddles, fun and activities in a relaxing welcoming environment. It truly felt like a home from home for him, which we loved. Clare also looked after my older daughter in school holidays who equally loved her time with Clare, always coming home with crafts they'd made and a big smile on her face. Clare is an amazing childminder who genuinely cares for all the children in her care. Thanks for everything Clare, we still miss you lots xx

Honestly, we feel so blessed to have known Clare. My daughter started with when she was 1 and was always excited to go round, she had such a special bond with Clare and her children which was so nice to see! Clare was always so flexible and accommodating and always provided me with updates and photos throughout the day.

Clare is amazing! She started looking after my 3 year old daughter in January and my girl absolutely adores her!
She comes home telling me all about how much fun she has had and all the nice food she has eaten.
Absolutely no complaints from me, I couldn’t recommend her highly enough! Such a great lady, childminder and Mum.

I first sent my daughter to Clare when she was 7 months old. It was a very difficult thing to do but I couldn't have chosen a better person. She has always felt so settled there and never had any trouble getting her through the door, she absolutely loved her time with Clare and always came home happy. Clare took my daughter out to a variety of places and was always doing activities. She has now started Nursery and been so confident, I am sure her time with Clare has had a major impact on this. I would highly recommend Clare!

Clare is so good with children. My children have been going to her for 3 years now and every time they go they do something different. She does such fun activities with them that they don’t ever want to leave clares house. She has such a lovely nursery area with loads of toys, books ect and a lovely garden area for the kids to play. I highly recommend Clare I would be lost with out her.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Clare! We've actually reduced her days at nursery so she can go to Clare more. She always comes home having learnt something new or telling us of an exciting day out. Clare is great with the kids and very approachable. Her home is lovely and very welcoming.
