I also hold Maternity Nursing Level 4, Paediatric first aid, Food Hygiene and Automatic Driving License. I have experience with children of all ages including newborn, am used to caring for multiple children at one time and am confident in my ability to meet the care and educational needs of all children. I have experience with SEN and am passionate about inclusion and promoting independence.
In my current role as a live-in Nanny I care for 3 children aged 9m, 3y and 7y, within a private household.
The household is part-staffed and I work collaboratively with parents and other professionals as well as sole charge and proxy parenting on a regular basis.
I am a diligent and devoted nanny, who provides high standards of childcare. I am proactive and organised and complete all tasks efficiently and effectively. I am involved in running the household and logistics involved in busy family life. I am professional and discreet.
I welcome the opportunity to travel in the UK and internationally with the family and embrace new experiences and adventures.
I plan a range of activities to help the children in my care to develop in every area of learning, my knowledge of child development helps to identify areas which require additional support or focus.
I encourage outdoor activities which offer valuable experiences as children are finding their way in the world. I arrange regular visits to local parks and valleys, as well as baby sensory, musical classes and stay and play.
My home is currently in The Midlands and I work in Kensington, so I am happy to travel weekly for the right live in opportunity. I will consider roles Nationwide or even abroad in the future.
My Experience
- I have Maternity Nurse experience on the placement programme offered with my training course.
- I have 7 years professional childcare experience, running my own childminding business. During which I looked after over 100 children at different ages and stages of development, from 2 weeks old up to 12 years old. My thorough knowledge and understanding of the EYFS enabled me to support children's development and identify any areas which require additional support. I worked with external agencies to ensure inclusion and support, as well as high levels of professionalism.
- I obtained my Midwifery Degree at Birmingham City University in 2017 and trained and worked at Heartlands Hospital on antenatal & postnatal wards, delivery suite & theatre and in the community. I loved supporting women on their journey to motherhood and working alongside new mothers, helping to establish feeding and sleep routines as well as identifying medical concerns and acting or referring appropriately when necessary. My degree was also BFI accredited and included Newborn Screening.
- I worked as a Health Care Assistant on a busy Neonatal Unit at Heartlands Hospital. Caring for small, poorly and premature babies. This brought me great joy and confidence with handling and caring for tiny babies as well as those with feeding tubes, cannulas, oxygen prongs etc and supporting families through difficult and unexpected circumstances.
- I have experience as a mother myself, supporting my daughters from birth to the independant young women they are today is by far my proudest achievement. I have always prioritised love, respect, resilience, reading, rational thinking, independence and kindness. The skills I gained through motherhood are integral to every role I do. I am nurturing, patient and supportive. I use every opportunity to teach my children something new and they are both high achievers in education, and confident, hard working individuals with high aspirations for the future.

My Availability
As a Professional Career Nanny, I will always consider roles which further my career and offer new experiences.
I can only consider a minimum of 35 hours per week, but can be flexible as to days and times where necessary. My current role is 60 hours per week.
My Fees
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)
£18 to £22 per hour, depending on the role.

As a single mom of two working full time, finding someone I can trust to care for my children has always been a top priority. Becky and Rhys have been an incredible support system over the years—having looked after my eldest and now continuing to care for my youngest.
Their communication is always clear and consistent, which gives me so much peace of mind. They’re also incredibly flexible and accommodating, which is a huge help when juggling work and parenting. Most importantly, they’re reliable and genuinely care for the children they look after.
My daughter enjoys her time there - she’s made lovely friends at the setting and always comes home happy and full of stories.
It’s such a comfort knowing she’s in a safe, caring environment where she feels settled and included.
I’m so grateful for the positive and nurturing environment they provide, and I couldn’t recommend them more highly to any parent in need of childcare support.

I honestly can't recommend Rhys and Becky highly enough. They’ve been absolutely amazing with looking after my daughter. From the very beginning almost two years ago since she started with them, they've made her feel so welcome and comfortable, and it’s been such a relief knowing she's in such caring and capable hands.
Elsie loves spending time with them, it's clear how much she enjoys her days there, and it’s lovely to see her so happy and settled. Rhys and Becky always create a fun, safe, and nurturing environment, and I really appreciate how they encourage her development and support her individual needs.
As a single parent who works shifts, I can't thank them enough for their flexibility and understanding. They’ve been so accommodating with my changing schedule, which has taken a huge weight off my shoulders. It’s hard to find childminders who are not only brilliant with children but also so reliable and supportive.

To say that Becki is an amazing childminder would be an understatement! She is simply the best! Becki looked after my older 3 children and has now been looking after my baby for a while. It’s always a worry to leave a very young baby with someone but I didn’t even need to worry! Becki looks after all the children in her care like they are her own. Becki provides so many opportunities for my son to be the best version of himself. Being a baby means he is so reliant on a care giver. Becki goes above and beyond to ensure all of his needs are met. She has supported us in his weaning and now helps him with learning to walk. Nothing is ever too much; I appreciate you more than you will ever know. Thank you Becki ❤️❤️❤️

Both my child attend Becki’s childminding service, one all day and the other for after school, we have been using them for nearly 3 years. My children love Becki and her family and they will go above and beyond for us. They are flexible and the communication is brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Becky looked after our son when he was around 1. She is warm, attentive, kind and very reliable. We were very happy with the care she provided and most importantly very comfortable from early on. Our son settled in well and she provided activities throughout the day that he enjoyed. She was always very flexible with my work requirements. I would highly recommend her to anyone! 👌👍

My two children have been going to Becki's since September, and they absolutely love it! Covid has changed so much about childcare facilities recently but Becki has managed to create a safe and fun atmosphere for the children, to the point they want to go the Becki's after school instead of coming home! :)
I have had various changing needs recently and Becki has been more than accommodating, nothing is ever too much trouble! I can't recommend Becki enough!

Becki looked after my little boy from when he was around 1 year old for a year until Covid changed all of our circumstances.
My son absolutely loved going to Becki’s, so much so he never wanted to come home!! Becki’s partner and children are also lovely people and made my son feel like family. She took him out on plenty of days out and walks and had a range of activities to do. My son loved her dogs and cat.
Becki wasn’t just a childminder to my son she really cares about the rest of the family and got to know my other two children aswell. She was always there for us all. She was very flexible if I needed to change days or add days too.
I highly recommend Becki.

I have been using becki as a childminder for almost 2 years now and my girls love it there. I always feel at ease when they are with her and don’t worry while I’m at work. She works around all the requirements I need and has been a life saver through the covid pandemic. We would be lost without her! Definitely recommend!
