Backed Off At The Last Moment

We agreed a month before my son starts. She let me down two days for visiting her setting and at the last moment when my kid was supposed to start she backed off from Childcare and just sent me an apology. Because of her I turned down two other child minders!! How selfish, unfair and unprofessional is she!

This parent has not visited my setting despite having months to do so. She is unable to give a review of my setting as has never seen it. The parent wished to visit last minute, changed dates for care frequently beforehand and refused the required pre-payment. There was no adequate response to the necessary safeguarding assessment needed to safeguard the other children in my care. Ofsted supported my decision to request a weeks delay to assess and prepare.

Unreliable and Extremely Unprofessional

On 28th of June she has confirmed her weekend hours and dates with me to start work. She asked for my address few times. I sent her my address, on 13th of July, just before the school holidays and 2 weeks after our agreement of work she sent me a text that she can not commit to work on weekends. She just wasted my 2 weeks and just before school holiday, its totally unfair and unacceptable behavior. I could have got other Nannies had she said that earlier on. Very dodgy and unreliable Nanny. I'd ask childcare.co.uk to look into this person's unprofessional attitude.

This is a parent I have never even met.

This is completely untrue as I have never met them only had a few WhatsApp messages and until I meet someone and sign a contract I do not commit to any positions to protect myself.
