About Me
I am an Ofsted Childminder in Hellesdon

I am a Mum of four with two adult children living in their own flat, one away working and one teenager at University from September
I follow the requirements of the EYFS and aim to provide a welcoming and family supportive Child care setting.
I am in the catchment for Arden Grove Infant School in Hellesdon.
My setting combines a home from home ethos in my home and a dedicated cabin playroom with access to garden play activities.
My hours from September 2026 are 8 - 5:30. Minimum 6 hours per day.
Parent Reference:
My son started attending this setting when he was only 12 months old and attended for two years.
It is my pleasure to recommend this setting as I have seen my son thrive there. Childminder Sarah is very attentive, caring and engaging.
Setting has weekly theme, toys are rotated very often to keep them interested and busy. Plenty of outdoor time and lunches outdoors ( weather permitting).
Toddler group and having a meet and play with other Local childminders means a lot of interaction with other kids, which my boy really enjoyed
Sincerely,
Lorena L.

Sarah was incredibly kind, understanding and generous when I reached out regarding childcare. She was very accommodating and willing to help me work around my circumstances, which I really appreciated. Although our childcare arrangements ultimately changed and we didn’t go ahead, I’m very grateful for her time, flexibility and kindness throughout. I would definitely recommend her based on my experience communicating with her.

Sarah was a childminder for my ~1-year-old son. She is a lovely and warm person, and my son really liked her. I appreciated that Sarah made sure to keep him occupied with different activities, both at her setting and socialising with other children at the community centre. She also gave him plenty of opportunity to be active and develop physically in her spacious back garden, with a large assortment of toys and outdoor play equipment.
Sarah was always punctual, attentive, and a good communicator. I am very glad we found her.

We agreed a month before my son starts. She let me down two days for visiting her setting and at the last moment when my kid was supposed to start she backed off from Childcare and just sent me an apology. Because of her I turned down two other child minders!! How selfish, unfair and unprofessional is she!

This parent has not visited my setting despite having months to do so. She is unable to give a review of my setting as has never seen it. The parent wished to visit last minute, changed dates for care frequently beforehand and refused the required pre-payment. There was no adequate response to the necessary safeguarding assessment needed to safeguard the other children in my care. Ofsted supported my decision to request a weeks delay to assess and prepare.
