About Me
I have worked around 11+ years in all in childcare, completing my work experience at Papillon nursery school in Tunbridge wells, I was offered a job there but decided on working alongside my sister who has an established business for 20 plus years, she is now a successful daycare run business and although I have enjoyed working alongside her, I have now decided after another 3 year stint with her to now set up from my own home. I have now moved from Brenchley after 16 years from a small home to a much bigger home and more accommodating premises to childmind.
I have 4 children of my own, my daughter Talitha who is now 20 years old and who will be working alongside me as an assistant and has a lot of experience herself, also working for my sister for a time and gaining some great experience and knowledge. My son Reuben who now 18 years old and is completing an apprenticeship in building work, a daughter Lilly through special guardianship and from respite care, who has been with the family officially since the age of 4 months, but unofficially from birth. I have a son called Sonnie who is 7 years old, the two younger ones attend Brenchley primary school. I love looking after little ones and being part of their journeys and look forward to childminding from my own home. I have a level 3 NVQ in home-based childcare. I have completed dbs checks for me, Talitha and Reuben, I am OFSTED registered and I have my first aid, I will be looking to fill 6 placements. I will have availability from Mondays-Fridays in school hours and perhaps during and after school. I would be wanting to start childminding for permanent placements from September and the beginning of the new school year, however I would be open to having children attend the setting during the school holidays. My Experience
I am a qualified nvq level 3 childminder, my work experience completed at Papillons in Tunbridge wells, I have been a registered ofsted approved childminder for 11+ years. I have worked alongside my sister in a childminding setting and more recently now a daycare setting. I have looked after children of all ages, newborn to early teens and enjoy working with all age groups.
