About Me
I am 39 years old and I have been working within the childcare sector for 20 years. I have experience working with babies and children of all ages in nurseries, schools, hospitals, private nanny roles and maternity nurse placements. In addition to this, I am a qualified Midwife, although I am no longer practising. I have lots of newborn nanny experience.
I have two of my own children; a son aged 8 and a daughter aged 5. When we are together we like to get out and about and we are a very active family. I also have experience of teaching children dance and fitness.
I run my own business from home part-time and also nanny/maternity nurse part-time. Most of the families I have worked with have kept me on long-term and I have had the pleasure of watching their newborn babies grow into young children. I have carried out many proxy parenting and sole charge roles but I am also happy to work alongside parents. I have an enhanced DBS check registered to the update service. I am paediatric first aid trained and I am also an Ofsted registered Nanny.
My roles and responsibilities when nannying involve providing a fun and stimulating day for the children both in the family home and in the local area. I love taking children to the beach, parks and for day trips to local places such as Moors Valley and Farmer Palmers. At home with the children, I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum with planned activities such as arts and crafts, music, reading and construction. I am also fluent in French and have worked with some French families. In addition to this I am more than happy to carry out light housekeeping duties and cook fresh and healthy meals for the children that I am looking after.
I am a friendly and outgoing individual. I am hardworking, reliable and trustworthy, and I have a passion for working with children and watching them grow and learn. I love sports and outside activities, and always try to be active with the children I look after. I also enjoy dancing and music. I like to attend fitness and dance classes in my spare time.
My Experience
I have experience working as a Midwife, a Nursery Assistant and various Nanny roles including a Special Needs Nanny role. I have also taught French to 3 and 4 year olds in a nursery setting.
I have looked after many newborns and also do some night nannying.

I am available for babysitting some evenings and most weekends. I am also available during the summer holidays and during the day time term-time.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
- Maternity Nursing from £16.00 per hour (gross)
I charge £14 per hour for nannying and £12 per hour for babysitting. I charge £16-20 per hour for maternity nursing (depending on location and whether working for singles or multiples).
