About Me
I have recently relocated to Wickford and am interested in a part time adhoc positions in essex and surrounding areas. I am available immediately until mid/end June. I have my own car and can travel to locations around Essex within reasons.
I am a friendly welcoming Nanny who has also completed training at Norland College. I have been qualified for seven years. Throughout my time at Norland I earned my Norland Diploma and my Bachelor of Arts in Early Years Development and Learning. We learnt a variety of skills and techniques that I feel Nannies benefit from knowing but we also learnt a range of extra curricular activities including skid pan training, fire extinguisher training and children’s swimming lessons.
I became a mother in April 2022 to a beautiful baby girl which i feel has enhanced my nanny experience and created a more personal experience to my career.
I ensure that the children I am looking after always have fun and I plan exciting day trips/activities appropriate for their ages and stages of development. I always remain professional and like to work closely with the parents to ensure the best for the child/ren. I carry out the expected daily nanny duties including; batch cooking, preparing healthy meals, tiding toys and washing and ironing children’s clothing.
With the recent pandemic I am very cautious about my hygiene; I carry wipes and sanitiser in my bag and I wash mine and the children's hands every time we return from being outside. I also have carried out my COVID-19 training in the workplace and have a certificate of my presence.
My Experience
I studied a childcare level 3 diploma at A levels from which I also received a first aid and food hygiene certificate.
I studied at Norland College and am moving into my seventh year since qualifying. Throughout my time at Norland I attended a variety of placements that were part of our training and I volunteered in many after school clubs and numerous babysitting jobs throughout my training. I have experience in special needs schools and on maternity and paediatric wards.
My DBS is clean and on the update service, I attend first aid courses every three years, I have continued with my CPD since leaving Norland and have attended many extra certifications in a variety of different course including sign language and food hygiene.

- Fully qualified Norland Nanny with a Norland Diploma and BA Hons Degree.
- 3 B's in Level 3 Childcare diploma.
- First aid trained (paediatric)
- Food hygiene trained
- 11 GCSE's C and above which include English, maths, child development and catering.
