About Me

Hi. I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in the Ruislip/Ruislip Manor area, where I live with my husband and our two adult children. I have been providing childcare since June 2007, bringing many years of experience in creating a safe, supportive and engaging environment for children.

At my most recent Ofsted inspection in July 2025, I was proud to receive a good grading across all areas, reflecting my commitment to maintaining high standards of care and education.

I offer school drop off and collection from Lady Bankes Primary School. Funded childcare places are available for children aged 9 months to 4 years. My home is smoke and pet free with a large, secure and well equipped 200ft garden. Children have access to a wide range of outdoor play equipment including swings, slides, a playhouse, water and sand tables and ride on toys, encouraging active play and exploration.

I hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Home-Based Childcare, am fully first aid trained, and regularly attend additional training to keep my knowledge and skills up to date. I am also a member of CoramPACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years).

I provide a rich variety of activities both at home and in the local community. These include toddler groups, soft play centres, parks, the library and the lido. During school holidays outings are extended to include farms, museums, zoos, theme parks, and other local attractions. At home, children enjoy a wide range of activities such as arts, crafts, music, singing, imaginative play, puzzles, cooking and story time, all planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and tailored to each child’s individual needs and interests.

I pride myself on offering a warm, caring and nurturing home from home environment where children feel safe, valued and are encouraged to learn, grow, and thrive.
