About Me
I am a single parent of 14 years old twins girls who I have raised on my own. while child minding I have been able to extend both my practical and theoretical knowledge. These includes a diploma on Child Psychology, as result it has allowed me to have a deeper understanding of child development.
I take healthy eating imperative to a child wellbeing, therefore children are encouraged to participate and discuss cookery sessions. This is achieved by ensuring a safe and age relevant environment.
In my leisure time, when I am not volunteering with the elderly I enjoy reading, walking music, watching sports and socialising.
My Experience
I have been working with children for nearly 20 years. During that time I have helped to run babies and toddlers classes as well as sports activities for the older children. I worked as play worker and my job consisted of organising children lunchtime and after school sports activities. I also have experience working with special needs. I am currently looking after a two and half year boy 4 days a week and I also do school pick ups and school drops.
