Part Time Nanny Job in Southville

We are a married couple living in Bedminster/Southville area near North Street. We have two beautiful sons, James who was born 19th May 2015 and Rupert who arrived on 13th April 2017.
When both boys were babies we had some wonderful nannies who looked after them for us when we returned to work. More recently both boys have been in full time nursery and both love that too. They are very resilient and happy characters and have always adapted to changes really well. We try to support them and listen to them if they tell us they are worried.
James is starting school in September and we have both started new positions that mean that the nursery hours are not possible on a Monday anymore. As a result we are looking for a nanny who will look after Rupert from 11am-7pm and collect James after school.
It's a sole charge position and would require cooking an evening meal, of course eating with them if you choose to and getting the boys ready to bed. Hopefully we would be home to say goodnight to the boys but on occasion it might mean reading their bedtime story. Mostly the hours would be set but due to the nature of our jobs rarely we might be late home.
A little about the boys...
James is a wonderful four year old. He is sensitive, chatty and fun. He constantly describes the world he sees around him and loves learning new facts and reading books. He loves colouring, cooking, singing, dancing, woodwork, climbing trees and the outdoors generally. He also loves the tele and is allowed to watch it sometimes. He likes Blue Planet and Octonauts as he loves learning about sea creatures. He also has a superhero obsession and likes to dress up and pretend to be the superheros with Rupert. Recently he likes to make people laugh and has started trying to tell jokes, although they often aren't quite right...he says "mummy was that a joke?" afterwards to check...
Rupert is our two year old. He is totally crazy in a good way. He is full of beaming smiles and tries to make everyone around him laugh and smile. He desperately wants to be like his big brother and copies him all the time. He gets frustrated sometimes and he can hit out but we have tried to be consistent with him and this is becoming less of a problem now. Rupert loves animals, he likes climbing everything, eating, singing and all the physical things! Football, running...he definitely thinks he is an older child! He likes being in the mix and has taken to the superhero theme with aplomb!
His speech is coming along but he struggles to say some things clearly and gets a bit upset when we don't always know what he is trying to say, so now we try to make a game out of word sounds and make him feel good about what he does say. Rupert loves splashing in puddles! Anything messy and involving water is a winner, and we try to let him splash and play when its possible. He likes the idea of reading books and colouring but often doesn't stick with it for long. The train set is an indoor favourite and building very big towers to knock down in comic fashion usually causes great excitement. Also he likes jumping on the sofa cushions and I have taken him to the play session at Axis regularly which he loves. We are just starting to potty train him, or rather we have talked about it a lot and he will often sit on the potty for a wee, but it hasn't quite sunk in yet so we may leave it a few more weeks before we commit to this!
As a family, we love being outdoors and are always busy when we have time off together; visiting family, walking to the harbour, hanging out at the tobacco factory. We take our children out to the local parks, national trust properties and to local classes and are looking forward to camping and walking up hills and mountains with them when they get a little bigger. We love food and all things that bring people together. We try and make dinner times a social time for the family although sometimes its not possible. Every day we read stories to the boys. James has his favourite big chapter books at the moment such as Ottoline and Goth Girl books but he loves all books! Rupert has favourite stories too and likes ten little fingers and ten little toes at the moment.
We would love to find someone caring, trustworthy and friendly, who will look after our sons: help them to learn, explore and develop. Someone who is patient and who will give our children individual attention and encouragement, while giving them the security of routine and boundaries.
Our intention from September is that Rupert will have a nanny on Monday and nursery Wednesday Thursday and half day on Friday. We could negotiate on the other days if the right person needs more than one day.
