About Me
We are a warm, friendly family with two boys who are nearly 3.5 and 2, and a cat.
When asked, my eldest told me his favourite things were 'Max (brother), snacks, and granny'. He also loves, maps, trains, counting, the question 'why' and climbing. He's quite a gentle soul and not as rough and tumble as his brother. He is very chatty and confident with new people.
The littlest wants to do everything his older brother does and is in a battle against the injustices of being littlest. He can walk for miles, so we don't often need the buggy. He loves giggling, visiting the chickens next door (and all animals), reading books, dancing and throwing sticks in the river. Max is a bit shyer with new people than his older brother but very cuddly and affectionate once he gets used to a person.
They are mostly pretty bouncy, sunny kids who quite like each other and used to being looked after by different people.
They both still nap in the middle of the day (though eldest growing out of it) and eldest is toilet trained.
My Requirements
We are looking for a permanent part-time (2 days) year round nanny in Frome.on Wednesdays and Fridays.
We would be interested in a nannyshare or a nanny with their own child but would like to find a matching aged child (around 2).
We are looking for a kind, energetic and responsible person to take good care of our two children and add something extra to their lives.
We need someone who is committed to helping children blossom, is fun, compassionate and level headed and also a person who is happy to be part of a bustling family household and can cook healthy and balanced food for the kids.
We already have a nanny 2 days a week who we love, so you'd need to be able to communicate well with her.
Days: Wednesdays and Fridays 8am-6pm
Wednesday would a day with both kids. Fridays are probably only with the littlest.
The kids are very active and love playing outside, exploring, looking for creatures, playing with trains, going to soft play and groups, music, going to the park, cooking, and all sorts.
We are looking for someone, ideally, experienced working with multiple children and who is Ofsted registered or prepared to be. In a perfect world we'd love to build a long term relationship with someone who might be prepared to do very occasional weekends/babysitting/emergency cover (but not a deal breaker).
I look forward to hearing from you

Rosie is an exceptional nanny and has made a huge difference to my children and our family life.
She's been with us for 4.5 years and we want to keep her in our lives as long as possible.
Rosie is a wonderful mixture of totally responsible, warm, fun and creative. She can meet any challenge (toilet training/tantrums/poor motor skills), has lots of energy, a sense of humour and is totally reliable.
Rosie has been great at nuturing my kids self-esteem and encouraging independence - the kids shop and cook delicious healthy food with her, they fix, reuse and recycle things, they go on outdoorsy adventures and trips, learn to do difficult things, play silly games and she has a gift of doing all of this with a kindness, patience and respect that the kids really respond to in kind.
Rosie is an absolute gem and she'd be an asset to any family.
