Dear family,
I am a naturally caring and empathetic nanny based in sunny Ashbourne, Derbyshire. I live here with my husband and Golden-doodle, Basil. I love the outdoors and countryside, and live a very active lifestyle. I am devoted to making a positive difference in children’s lives, whilst always providing a safe, secure and loving environment. I lead by example and constantly strive to inspire the children and families in my care. I have a great passion and eagerness to find an inspiring balance of education and fun.
My Experience
During my 15 years experience as a nanny I have cared for babies from birth, including premature babies, through to teenagers, I also have experience caring for twins.
I have recently qualified as a paediatric sleep consultant and undertaken a baby massage instructors course.
My aim as a nanny is to work in partnership with families to form and implement solid daily routines whilst remaining flexible and encouraging children to explore individual interests. To expand their minds, develop life skills and become the best version of their independent little selves. I have been responsible for driving and supervising children to play dates, nursery/school, doctor visits, baby classes ect. I have sourced healthy organic produce and prepared tasty and nutritious meals, ensuring a well-balanced diet.
I have extensive experience working with children with learning difficulties and have worked in conjunction with physiotherapists and occupational therapists as requested by families.
I have held a full clean driving licence since I was 18 and have driven in the UK and abroad.
