My name is Lana and I am 50 year old and I live in St Margaret’s, Twickenham (TW1)
I am a very caring, kind, conscientious, patient, happy and fun loving person who absolutely adores children and looking after them. I have a lovely 15 year old daughter and I treat all children like I would my own. I am very trusting, honest and easy going. I love to have fun and enjoy being outdoors as well as indoors. I enjoy taking children on outings, playdates etc and doing whatever I can to make them happy and to make sure they are having fun and feel safe. I enjoy helping children learn through play, exploring many different activities and visiting fun and educational places. I teach children good manners and always encourage positive behaviour, I feel it is very important for children to be able to gain good knowledge and understanding of what is right and what is wrong as they grow up. Explaining things to children and incorporating many different resources into role play is very important. I believe children should be given the opportunity to explore and develop their imaginations.
I could inspire and encourage your child's development and also be responsible for the total well-being of your child. I would liaise with you with regards to organising activities and depending on the age of your child and your needs I will carry out or execute the plans you make or I can take full responsibility for planning activities and ensuring your child are busy and getting enough social interaction with other children. I can organise swimming, music, yoga, art and dancing lessons, visits to the park, play dates with other children of a similar age etc. I would help your child to develop through educational games and play, and outdoor activities.
I can offer healthy and tasty food for your child and ensure that your child are eating well and with appropriate manners for their age. I'll encourage your child to love all fruits and vegetables and explore different tasters and food.
I can adapt my own experience and knowledge of child development and education to suit the needs of your family.
After all I am there to help you to parent your child and understand the privilege of taking part in your parenting journey.
My Experience
Apart from parenting my own child who is now 15, I have looked after young children and babies various age since 2008. I worked at the nursery and I adore little children. I have always found looking after them a very natural thing, and thoroughly enjoy their company.
Currently I am looking after absolutely adorable 6 month and 2 year old boys and two amazing school children on various days and currently looking for an additional family to feel up my free time or I can offer pick up from Orleans primary school on a base of "Nanny share" scheme.

1987 - Secondary School Certificate
1992 - Honours Bachelor Degree Music Teacher and Secondary School Teacher
From 2014 - Certificate of First Aid Paediatric training.
From 2014 - DBS Certificate ( police check).
From 2014 - Public liability insurance
From 2014 - Member of PACEY (Professional association for childcare and early years)
2015 - Henry's Healthy Meals for children.
My Availability
I am available on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings until 3pm
And for Orleans primary school pick ups on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons from 3pm.

Lana has looked after our twin children since they started reception. She has always collected them from school (several times a week) and we fetched them from her house after their dinner, when we finished work. My children are starting year six in September and we no longer need Lana’s help with wraparound care.
In the six years that Lana has looked after our children, I cannot recall a single time that she let us down. She is incredibly reliable, but most importantly she has cared for and loved our children as if they were her own, and I never had a moment’s worry when they were in her care. Lana has always been flexible and adapted to our busy lives and our children’s needs, and she was always happy to take them on excursions to places like Hampton court palace, Kew gardens, Ham house etc (and they always had a lovely day out with her). We are all very sad that she will no longer be a regular part of our family, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone who is looking for a kind, caring, generous and trustworthy person to look after young children.
