I am an experienced childcare and social care professional, based in London since 2007. With over 15 years of experience working with children and vulnerable individuals, I combine compassion, cultural sensitivity, and strong communication skills. As an Ofsted-registered childminder and qualified early years practitioner, I am now expanding my expertise into the wider health and social care sector.
Proactive, reliable, and deeply people-focused, I bring both independence and teamwork, alongside experience in safeguarding, early education, and outreach social work. I am self-employed, manage my own tax and administration, and continuously seek to grow through training and hands-on experience.
I have re-located to London and I’m looking for local childcare and housekeeping jobs.
My home is warm and friendly, for children to achieve their full potential. I have studied Foreign Languages and I am fluent in French and Italian. I offer overnight , weekends and bank holidays services on request.

We have been using Maria for over 12 months. She has been responsible for the collection of my 2 daughters from school / nursery and then taken them home to her house and cared for them. She is a loving, enthusiastic, bubbly lady. She has lots of energy and is always smiling. My children love her and her son too!
She is very interested in healthy eating and is not a fan of children watching television. She loves reading books to my children and doing art and craft activities. I especially liked that she told me ,at the end of each childcare session, exactly what my daughters had been doing good and bad.
I have trusted Maria with sole responsibility for my children when I have been out of the country. We have also used her as a babysitter.
I highly recommend Maria , and would happily chat to any parents who are considering her as their childminder
