Dear Sir/Madam,
I am a highly experienced 44-year-old Slovak tutor and childcarer. My educational background is in Pedagogy of Leisure Time which I finished with a Master's degree in 2006 and I have been working in education since.
My previous employers have found me to be very enthusiastic, honest, reliable, well-organised, caring and fun-loving. In addition, I am extremely patient, affectionate and I bring energy and cheerfulness, as well as a good sense of humor and willingness to work hard to everything I do. I am an active person with a great imagination and a positive outlook.
I am sensitive to the needs of each child and am able to connect with children in a very positive way.
I believe there is always a way how to support a child and make him/her comfortable, confident, happy and relaxed while dealing with their studies or homework.
I am also a mom of a 2-year-old boy, so I have been spending most of my time with him to preparing him to be independent before he starts nursery. Apart from the motherhood life I am a dog owner and I love music, dance, sport, cinema, morning walks in the woods and driving.
I have a current DBS certificate, and I am registered with the DBS Update Service. I am a non smoker and I am holding a full UK driving licence!
My Experience
My extensive experience includes working as a child after school club leader, nanny, nursery teacher, support teacher, tutor, babysitter, PA, ABA tutor, childcare advisor and nursery manager.
I am an experienced one-to-one English and Maths Educator providing in-person tuition. I have over 6 years of teaching and tutoring experience in nurseries and private. I have a very unique approach to teaching and tutoring so my students will have fun while learning at the same time. I am able to teach children from 3+, helping them to have a smooth transition from the nursery to reception, especially children with difficulties with learning, concentration with speaking, reading, listening or catching up after COVID19.
I have been working with children of different age groups from 0 to 15 years old for the past 25 years in Slovakia, the Netherlands and the UK. I adore my work and have always had fantastic connections with my work/families and the children I have worked with.
I build up my experience depending on work needs, if I had a child who has learning difficulties, focus difficulties or a child with special needs I would spend more time with him/her to motivate and support them by any way possible to achieve the best results.
