Hi there.
Firstly thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile.

I have been working in childcare for 35 years.
Iam a mature but fun loving proud mother of 2 children, one just finished secondary school and one heading to University this Sept 2026.

Iam based in the Forest Of Dean but happy to expand just outside this area if necessary.

When first starting out on my childcare career I worked for 2 holiday companies as a children's entertainer based in the UK and Europe.

I have previously worked in a private school based in their nursery for 3 years, prior to this i was a nanny to 2 children for 6 years who also attended the same private school, along with plenty of babysitting for families from the nursery and my own family members.
I then took a break to raise my own children, however always ended up with extra friends chiidren ontop, before heading back into work adhoc.

In Sept 2019-Sept 2021.
I worked for a local family mainly taking day to day care 3 days a week for their youngest child from the age of 9 months -3yrs with occasional care for their older children when required.

Sept 2021-Jan 2024.
I then finished with another local family caring for their youngest child 2/3 days a week with again occasional holiday and after school care for their eldest child.
The children are now at school full time, however I do still occasionly care for them adhoc on holidays/weekends.

Between Jan 2024- Aug 2025.
I provided a lot of adhoc daytime/ babysitting and holiday days for previous families.

Sept 2025- Present.
Iam currently a part time nanny to a nearly 2yr old little boy however he will soon be attending nursery as of Sept 2026 which gives me more availability back.

My current availability as of Sept 2026 is shown below.

Iam also more than happy to do a short meet up beforehand as I feel a face to face is always better than a phone call or message to give the child and yourselves as parents a chance for everyone to feel comfortable.


I do feel very privileged to have been able to work for some wonderful families in the past and iam still in touch with them all as we always create a special bond, the eldest ones now in their late twenties!
I see this as an amazing plus point of my career.

I have a current DBS and I hold a qualification in Cache Diploma Childcare level 3.

I enjoy engaging with children of all ages, incorporating crafts, outdoor play, walks, swimming, trips and base activities on the child's own interests along with providing new experiences.
Iam also more than happy to do some general household chores and any aspect of nursery duties to do with the children if child is napping etc during the daytime.
Iam comfortable with horses, cats and small dogs.

Iam a non-smoker, have a clean driving licence and own car, however mileage costs for any work use would need to be added if using my own for the children.

Unfortunately some of my previous families are no longer active on the childcare site including the family i currently work for so unable to leave reviews for me however references and contacts would be readily available if required.
