About Me
Dear Parents (experienced and brand new), I am a generally happy person with a positive attitude towards life, pregnancy, childbirth and raising children. I believe that all parents want what is best for their children, but also know that happy children start with relaxed parents and a calm, positive birth.
The extensive training I have received with NCT (as a Doula, Antenatal practitioner and Pregnancy Yoga teacher) makes me the perfect candidate for your birthing needs: I can answer your birth-related questions and help you navigate the many decisions you will make before your baby arrives. I will be happy to teach you calming yoga postures, relaxation and visualisation techniques that can aid your labour and birth. I am an advocate of personalised labour support, where the emphasis is on the birthing woman’s needs and preferences. I am passionate about supporting women wherever they decide to give birth, and my overall aim is to help you create a positive birth experience. I can be there for both of you, supporting the birth partner as well, enabling the birthing woman to have the support and experience she is hoping for.
I am also well organised and like to work in a tidy environment. I speak English, basic Spanish and native Hungarian.
My Experience
Based in Thornton Heath, I have been an experienced Nanny over the past decade, caring for babies and young children with love, passion and understanding. I have also focused on supporting mothers and fathers through their transition into early parenthood. Currently, I work as a Nanny during the day and offer my Birth and Postnatal Doula services as and when contracted.
My Qualifications
NCT Doula/ Antenatal practitioner/ Pregnancy Yoga teacher (2019)
BSc degree in Social Pedagogy (Hungary 2008)
Childcare course from the Hungarian Red Cross
Safeguarding children course from the Council of Hammersmith and Fulham
Adult, children and baby first aid courses (last one in June 2016.)
My Availability
My availability is subject to our mutual agreement. The initial consultation is free and I am happy to have a chat with you over the phone to see whether my services are right for you.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Doulas from £30.00 per hour
Birth Doula £1200 (3 antenatal and 1 postnatal visits included, being on call plus attending the birth as long as it takes)
Postnatal Doula £30/hr (normally 3-4hrs a day)
