About Me
Shell’s House Childcare, Boreham, opens at 7am and closes by 6pm, offering flexible hours throughout the year.
Children are encouraged to play, develop, learn, discover and have fun in a small “home from home” style setting.
I am a qualified early years and childcare professional who is constantly striving to deliver the best care.
I am competitively priced to ensure I support all families in Boreham and the surrounding areas.
I currently have vacancies for full day care for under 5’s and holidays care for all ages.

My Experience
I believe I care for children the way I would want my own cared for.
I am an experienced childcare practitioner, qualified to Cache NVQ level 3 Childcare and Education in 2002. I have many qualifications and over 25 years of experience.
I have 4 children of my own who are now all older teens and adults.
I am studying for a BA honours degree in childhood and youth studies.
I can offer care all year round or term time only, between 7am and 6pm for Early years children (under 5) and holiday care for children of all ages.
I can offer school closure/inset day cover.
I am only closed over the Xmas period or for family holidays, and pride myself on being flexible to meet the needs of the families I work for.
Adhoc care available.
I have current first aid, DBS and safeguarding training as well as other certificates available to view on request.
My Qualifications
CACHE Diploma in Child Care and Education nvq level 3
Level 3 paediatric first aid
Level 3 safeguarding and child protection
CAVA level 3 in Assessing vocational achievement in Childcare.
EYFS
Managing effectively in early years
Safe recruitment of early years practitioners
Level 2 Health and safety
Level 2 food safety and hygiene
BA Hons degree Childhood and Youth studies pending completion.
My Availability
Full day care for under 5’s 8am-5pm (Early drop at 7am and late pick up 6pm available).
All year round or term time care.
Holiday care (All except Xmas and 1 week at Easter) 7am-6pm.
“School hours” discount price available.
Closed weekends and Bank holidays.
Other closure dates may apply, available on request.
My Fees
- Childminding from £5.00 per hour
Childminding - rates available on request starting from £5 per hour. Sibling discount may be available.
Tax free childcare payments accepted.
Government funding for 15 or 30 hours accepted - eligibility required.
Working parents funding and Low income family funding accepted.
Deposit payable to secure place. Refundable against last invoice.
