Hello Parents,
I am a 33 year old, living in Houghton Regis looking for a part time nanny/ABA tutor role. I have experience with SEN children, mainly ASD.
I'm focussed, bubbly, dedicated, creative, caring, flexible, firm but fair, and very patient. I have special interests in childcare, art and psychology.
My Experience
I have over 9 years caring experience. This is spread over 5 families. Over this time I have worked closely with 10 SEN children and in some households their siblings. My special needs experience includes non verbal ASD primarily, in addition global delay, speech delays, deafness and ADHD.
The last 4 years I've spent shadowing and training with a variety of NHS and private consultants, gaining experience from a variety of therapeutic perspectives (OT, SALT, ABA etc). I've spent most of this time learning ABA VB, across 5 families. I have worked as a home tutor and school shadow.
My Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid
Ofsted Certification for Nannying
Level 2, Understanding Autism
PECs training.
1st class BA (Hons) degree.
Foundation diploma in Art and Design
3 x A levels: art, biology and chemistry. All C grade and above.
10 x GCSEs all C grade and above. (A*s in Maths, Science x2 and Art. A grades in English x2, Information Technology and Design Technology).
