We cannot recommend Louise enough!

I wish I could put into words what it means to us to have Louise care for our daughter. But I'll try..

We had a difficult beginning when seeking childcare, initially opting for a private nursery in which my daughter was clearly very overwhelmed with and the setting did not suit. E had never been with anyone else ( Covid /lockdowns) and as a result she had real seperation anxiety.

Immediately when we met Louise for the initial visit I felt so much more at ease, the sun lounge/play room is a gorgeous calm and welcoming space and the rest of Louise's home is beautiful - my daughter loves her garden!

It took some time for E to settle, Louise was so supportive and really helped my daughter and us as parents through this time. I felt respected in the way we wished to settle her in (we agreed a plan of increasing so many hours each day and this worked really well) and this partnership continued throughout. Louise always kept us updated on how E was doing and would ask us how she could best support E and how we felt she was settling in.

Once E was settled she absolutely thrived and is always happy to go to ' Lou Lou's'. Louise is very gentle and respectful in her approach to caring for children as well as being a great laugh and genuinely fun! My daughter absolutely loves Louise's son and they really make her feel part of the family.

E has come on leaps and bounds developmentally. For me it was always a priority that she felt safe, cared for and happy. In Louise doing this for E she is so much more confident and resilient.

If you have come across this profile and review, don't hesitate, Louise really is one of a kind!

Top marks for Broughty Babies!

Going back to work and leaving my wee boy (age 11 months) filled me with dread but Louise made this whole process so much easier. Now my son is 2 and has built up such a close bond with Louise, sometimes it’s a struggle to get him to leave at the end of the day! We know we can trust her to keep him safe and we really appreciate the communication and photos which keep us updated throughout the day. He clearly has a great time at Broughty Babies and is exposed to lots of different experiences and learning activities. Our son is also very fond of Louise’s 7 year old son - he likes to talks about them both fulla lot at home.
I am so thankful that we found such a reliable, caring and genuine childminder.

Best childminder in the world.

We have used Louise(Lou Lou ) of broughty babies for the best part of 4 years.we found her very trustworthy,reliable polite with a great sense of humour everything you could ask for,she was always taking the boys out on day trips which the boys couldn’t wait to tell us about at night.would also get daily pics and updated about what was for lunch etc
Louise wasn’t just a childminder to us she was a friend,which made it all the harder to leave but buying our first house forced the issue.
Louise would go out her way for the boys and for that we will be forever grateful.
