About Me
Hi, I’m Christine, an Ofsted registered childminder with over 30 years of experience caring for children of all ages. I provide a warm, safe and nurturing home-from-home environment where children feel happy, secure and valued.
I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Level 2 Autism Awareness, allowing me to support children with a wide range of needs and stages of development with patience, care and understanding.
My setting follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), supporting children’s learning and development through fun, engaging activities tailored to their individual needs and interests. I help children build confidence and reach important milestones through play, exploration and positive experiences.
My home is a clean, non-smoking household with no pets, offering a calm and welcoming setting for children to learn and play. I also have a secure garden where children can enjoy outdoor play and fresh air.
I plan a variety of stimulating daily activities including cooking, arts and crafts, sensory play, story time and creative activities. I also enjoy taking children on outings such as visits to local parks, farms, the library and rhyme time sessions and soft play
I celebrate a wide range of cultural events, traditions and festivals throughout the year, helping children learn about the world around them and develop respect and understanding for others.
I believe strong communication with parents is very important, so I provide daily feedback, regular updates and photos to keep you involved in your child’s day and progress.
My aim is to give every child the care, attention and opportunities they need to grow in confidence, develop new skills and enjoy their early years in a happy, loving
environment.

Registered childminder for 30 + years with Lots of experience with all ages from newborn .
I have recently updated First aid and child protection training. I have an NVQ3 in childcare and a level 2 in autism awareness along with many other relevant courses plus I also attend continuous training . My last inspection by ofsted graded me as good & my report is available for you to read. I can also provide contact details of parents for references . Up to date DBS available to see

My son has been with Christine for a year now, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the care she provides. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease, and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares about the children she looks after.
Every day, my son comes home full of stories about what he’s done – whether it’s a trip to the park, soft play, a fun picnic, or one of the many creative activities Christine plans. It’s been amazing to see how much he’s grown in confidence and how much he’s learned during his time with her.
Most importantly, he absolutely loves going. That peace of mind – knowing your child is happy, safe, and thriving – is priceless. We feel so lucky to have found Christine and would highly recommend her to any parent looking for a warm, caring, and dedicated childminder.

My 2 daughters went to Christine for over 8 years, and I would highly recommend her. They both started with her just under the age of 1, and she looked after them during the day up to their school ages. She helped in their development and progress, e.g. helped us to potty train them and learn loads of social skills, and about sharing etc. She always took them for activities e.g. soft plays, farm visits and playparks. Her home was always clean and welcoming, and girls always wanted to go there. She has a long experience of looking after children, different ages and different backgrounds, but she is always brilliant with all the children. Christine was always so positive and supportive with the children, but also with us parents too. It was always easy to have a conversation with her, if there was anything I needed to chat with her, she was always supportive, which made it so easy and stress-free. Christine provided such a caring, warm, experienced and safe environment for my children and I'm forever grateful for having her as our childminder, and would strongly recommend her.

We have had such an amazing experience with Christine. Amelia loves going to her. She is very professional in her work and is very thorough in record keeping including the child’s welfare and health and safety . The setting is very clean and well maintained with lots of activities for the children. She takes them out regularly for various fun activities including soft play. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any prospective parents.

We have been sending our son since November, and he’s been enjoying going there! and has made a lot of progress in terms of communication and his social skills. We would definitely recommend!

My son has been coming for 7 months and he absolutely loves it, he always asks to come on his days off. His communication and confidence has improved since coming. Would definitely recommend.
