Hello, My name is Simonetta.
I live and work as a childminder in the Niddrie community.
I am a registered child minder under the name Danette.
I aim to provide a safe place for children at home where children can explore and develop new skills.
Children's safety is paramount at all times, whether at home or out and about in the community. This I hope will exceed parent’s expectations, and I welcome most age groups of children, preferably 1 to 12 years of age.

I returned to work after 12 years of being a stay at home mother of three so to say I was anxious about who I would get to take care of my children was an understatement however by magic I found Simonetta and her family who have been the most lovely family to get to know and work with. My son and daughter both love Simonetta and all the new and exciting things she does with them on a weekly basis. So needless to say I am able to go to work with the knowledge that my children are being very well cared for in a safe and respectful environment!

We couldn’t be happier with our choice!
We were so nervous as when our baby started he was only 13 months old but as soon as he met Simonetta he was at easy and so were we. She provide wonderful, creating and educational Montessori style activities in a save environment at home. But also takes Oliver out to parks, museums and his favourite thing is school pick up where he’s joined by other lovely children she look after. She provide healthy snacks and lots of videos/pics during the day. I know my baby is safe and have lots of fun when at Simonetta so I 100% recommend her service!

Simonetta is a very wonderful person. I accompanied my son for a year and it was the best experience I have had in child care. I am very grateful for all the help you gave me this year and with his great patience he helped me with my son's behavior. I really like his work because he taught my son many new things. thank you so much. we are going to miss you.
