About Me
My name is Ruth Courtenay, I am 26 years old. I am currently working as a nanny for a mum and son, I have been doing this since just before. Christmas and have settled into. the change in career really well. I have always loved looking after children from a young age and been keen to help bath them and feed them a bottle or feed them their dinner. I also enjoy photography and baking in my spare time. I like the challenge of editing the photos I take on photoshop on my Mac.
My Experience
I havd had a range of experience with different children ranging in age from newborns to 10 and above.
When I was in my late teens I helped run a holiday club for children at my local church when I lived in Dorset (these children were between 5-11), at the same church I also helped run a crèche once a month. I have worked in a highs open style nursery. I have done some agency work in special needs schools, I don’t have much experience in this bit would love to gain some more.
My Qualifications
I Completed my level 3 diploma in childcare and education with a d grade in July 2012.
I have Ben a paediatric first aider before however I need to re do this.
I know basic sign language which I love teaching to children.
I have maths and English gcse grade c.
I have a b gcse grade in food technology and child development.
My Availability
I am currently very flexible with my time and am able to be available at quite short notice. I will always try to accomodate your needs if I can do.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £8.50 per hour
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (gross)
Babysitting fees as follows
I charge £10ph from 7am-11pm for children under 2. I charge £12ph from 11pm onwards for children under 2.
I charge £8.50 from 7am-11pm for children aged 2 and up. I charge £10 ph from 11pm onwards for children aged 2 and up.
Nannying rates
I charge between £15-20ph dependent on age of child/children and how many hours.
