About Me

I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. I am currently a Year 5 teacher working at City of London Junior School. I will be relocating to Chelmsford, Essex in July and offer engaging, fully tailored online tutoring sessions to children from Reception to GCSE level. I am confident, reliable, and approachable, with excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to support learners of all ages and needs.

I specialise in independent school and 11+ preparation and have a strong track record of helping students secure places at top selective schools. I plan all sessions carefully to meet the individual needs of each student, using high-quality, customised resources. I currently tutor online via Microsoft Teams but am flexible and happy to use other platforms to suit your preferences

My Experience

I have over 10 years of teaching experience in both the private and state school sectors, alongside a decade of tutoring experience. I also serve as a Centre Manager at Explore Learning, where I train tutors, liaise with families, and oversee daily operations. I’ve successfully prepared children for 11+, SATs, and GCSE exams, with a tailored and goal-oriented approach that gets results.

My Qualifications

In 2020, I graduated from Durham University with a First-Class degree in BA Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status. I achieved 3 A-Levels and 11 GCSEs including Maths and English. In 2025, I completed the St John’s Ambulance Paediatric First Aid course. I regularly engage in professional development and recently delivered training on neurodiversity in education, drawing on my classroom and tutoring expertise. I also completed a Master’s in Law in January 2026.

My Availability

I currently offer online tutoring sessions on weekdays, weekends and during private school holidays. I am flexible with platforms (Teams, Zoom, Skype, etc.) and work with children across all ages from Reception to GCSE.
