About Me
I am an Ofsted Registered Accredited Network Childminder, based in Harrow Middlesex. I have been married for 30 years and have two adult children, both of them living away from home. I live in a extended three bedroom house with a good-sized secure garden. I live right behind Avanti Krishna School. I have a full range of toys and equipment to suit all ages for both indoor and outdoor use. Attend regular training on issues such as specific learning needs of children who have special educational needs and/ or disabilities / various toddler groups, where the children benefit greatly and have lots of fun.. I love caring for the children and I take great pride.
My Experience
I have recently Registered as a Childminder / Nanny I am registered by Ofsted and am also a member of the National Childminding Association (NCMA). I have worked as a Personal support worker (PSW) in Health Care, worked with elderly people with disabilities in hospital, Long Term Care and Retirement Home. I was away in Canada working as a supervisor in Little Munchkins Day Care for 1 year. I have worked hard to understand the background and culture of every child and I include these daily discussions and activities. I introduce topics on diversity so all children develop awareness and respect others. All the children know about the countries each child comes from, their language, their families and other cultural differences. I am working towards the QIA (Quality Improvement Award)
