My Summary

My Experience

I found my passion when I started my work with children in a private nursery. I applied as an apprentice and within a year I was offered a permanent job. I then went on to do my Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce. Some of my responsibilities as an Early Years Practitioner were changing nappies, preparing food (I held a Food and Hygiene Level 2 certificate).
After almost 4 years in the private nursery I was offered a job in a primary school. I was a teaching assistant in the nursery. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time there and have learnt a lot. I have planned my own lessons for Literacy and Numeracy (working with the lower ability group) and I have also worked with the higher ability group (pushing them in their abilities). I have planned and led 2 separate speech and language groups and have also led Talking Tables (which helps children develop their social and communication skills). I have assisted the teacher on home visits and have found it interesting and a bonus as I plan to start my degree in Education in October.

My Qualifications

I have completed my Level 3 in Childcare (Young People in the Workforce). I have had 5 years of experience working with children between 6 months and 5 years.

My Availability

I am available all evenings apart from Wednesdays. I will be available full time from 12th August - 31st August. Then in the evenings during the month of September.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nursery work from £10.00 per hour

I charge £10ph for Babysitting
