About Me

Hi I am Sue(Susan). My USP, is that, as a Level 3 qualified teaching assistant I can offer both nanny and tutoring for primary aged children. My passion is to help children learn and gain their full potential whatever the child’s ability. I can personalise my approach to give your child/children a unique afterschool or school holiday experience.
I have 15 years experience working in education and childcare.
My experience covers-
Teaching Assistant - 9 years working in schools, currently volunteering within a class at Nyewood Infants. Working within mainstream and Special Needs schools.
After school nanny for 5 families.
Playworker at local out of school club.
Tutoring KS1/KS2 school age children(currently tutoring 2 sisters)
Being a Local Authority School Governor.
Having vast SEN experience age range 7-16 including non verbal pupils.
I am on the DBS Update Service. Refs can be provided.

My Experience

I have life experience and have raised my own family. 15 years working with children - Mainstream and Special Needs Schools Primary and Secondary (Autistic,Aspergers,Fragile X,Downs,CP, Global Learning Delay,Speech and Language and MLD). Out of school club, after school nanny, 1-1 tutoring of phonics, English and maths Reception Y1 Y2.Y4.
