My Experience

I have worked with a wide range of children in a school setting as well as teaching swimming to all ages. I have experience of working on a 1:1 basic with children with additional needs and have run holiday clubs for children with learning disabilities.
I have been mainly a stay at home mum for the last couple of years and have spent lots of time around children's groups and caring for my son and on occasions my 3 year old nephew.
I have had years of fist aid training, including paediatric first aid and life guarding, however my last certificate has expired so I will need to renew it.
I am really interested in nurturing children's natural creativity and individuality. I have a good knowledge of teaching basic skills in numeracy and literacy specifically phonics.

My Qualifications

My Availability

Monday to Wednesdays. I am looking for a position where my son can come along with me. He is taught to behave well and be polite and is a very typical toddler boy. He is very sociable and used to playing with other children.
My son attends nursery on a Thursday and Friday whilst I am working as a teaching assistant so I am available for after school care on these days 3-5 if your child attends the same school..
