My Experience
Currently working towards my next career venture and am looking for short term full time or part time nanny roles during this time!
I have recent experience as a Teaching Assistant at a primary school for children as young as 4 years old up to 11 years old with challenging behaviours and conditions such as ADHD and autism. Particularly focusing on regulating these children and teaching them the tools they need to manage their emotions and brighten their days at the school.
Previous to this I have 5 years experience as a full time sole charge Nanny caring for babies and children as young as newborn. Many of these were short term roles meaning I have worked with up to 20+ families from different backgrounds, races, religions, sexualities, disabilities etc. and am open to any and every family no matter what that looks like for you.
In particular I was a full time Nanny for a bilingual child from being 10 months old to 4 years old- in this time I experienced many milestones and had endless adventures. This included teaching English, attending baby sensory and music classes, cooking classes, swimming lessons, farm trips, soft play, Forest school, trips to parks, collecting from nursery, making meals, potty training, establishing nap time routines, cooking meals, cosy days at home and many more.
I have learnt invaluable skills on how to help raise children and what they need from me as a caregiver. I would love to share this love with other families and help them with this incredibly tough and eternally rewarding journey- it really does take a village.
My Qualifications
GCSE Maths, English & Science
A Level Health and Social Double Award
Level 3 in Teaching and Supporting Children in schools.
These qualifications have taught me everything I need to know in terms of child development, supporting teaching and learning, and safeguarding children.

My Fees
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
In hours rate £16 per hour.
Out of hours and weekends rate £18 per hour.

Alex took care of my 2 months daughter while I went to study and my son goes to nursery. She arrived about 15 minutes before we left and was able to understand everything she needs to do in that short time and took care of my daughter very well. She knew how to prepare the correct amount of formula and how to use all her chairs and toys without explanation. She arrived on time every time too.
She was also kind enough to play with my son while I got ready in the morning.

Alex has looked after my 8 month old boy while I was working from home. She is very patient and friendly with children. My little one was born during lockdown and did not get to see many people other than family. Thought he would not be happy to see a new person but to my surprise it he was very comfortable with Alex. It took no time for them to become friends. She took him for walks, played and sang for him. He was happy with her. I definitely recommend Alex if you are looking for child care.
