About Me
I am a primary school teacher in Tunbridge Wells. I have taught in international primary schools in France, England and Italy, which has been a wonderful experience. I studied French and Italian at UCL in London and also followed some modules at Florence University and Lyon University. I enjoy being creative and fun as a teacher and often incorporate games, music and languages into lessons to inspire the children. My favourite pastimes would be drawing, writing and speaking in Italian in my favourite city - Rome!
My Experience
After studying French and Italian at UCL, I worked for a year as a primary music teacher in Hertfordshire. I then gained my PGCE and spent some years working in English schools and primary/international/bilingual schools in Rome, Lyon and Naples, where I also perfected the languages and learnt a lot about the cultures and people. I am currently in England working as a year 1 teacher in Tunbridge Wells, which I love. Since leaving university I have privately tutored children and adults in piano, flute, core subjects, French and Italian.
My Qualifications
BA French and Italian from UCL
PGCE in primary early years to KS2
My Availability
I would be available to tutor on weekdays after 4:30pm and on a Saturday. I would be able to offer babysitting at the weekend or school pick ups/drop offs from Speldhurst School Monday - Wednesday.
