My Experience
My most recent role involved working in loco parentis as a live-in nanny, providing 60–120 hours of care per week for an eight-month-old child. I have served as a solo-care nanny for ten children under the age of two, as well as eight additional children aged three to seven. My previous experience also includes working as a Creative Activity Planner with The Kids’ Table and as a member of the team at Little Jungle preschool nursery.
Caring for and teaching children has always been a true passion of mine. I attend church weekly, where I regularly look after groups of up to eleven children—whether I am teaching music, supporting new mothers, assisting busy parents, or simply helping out for the joy of being with the children.
Through my volunteer work at a summer school and my roles in a preschool daycare and nursery, I have gained extensive experience in engaging children in activities that are both enjoyable and educational. I have a genuine love for my work and strive to create a nurturing, supportive, and warm environment.
My Qualifications
While I do not have formal childcare qualifications, I have completed thorough training through a preparatory course. I was able to strengthen my safeguarding skills, and learnt how to respond confidently to a wide range of situations. This enables me to support each child’s safety, well-being, and development with genuine care. I also hold a clean DBS check, a paediatric first aid certificate and 6 years of experience with all ages.

Javae jumped in last minute for us after I broke my ankle and has been wonderful.
Our son warmed to her immediately and had so much fun on their adventures- every day was a new adventure tailored to our son.
She is calm, patient, flexible and creative.
We’ll be contacting Javae when we need a nanny or babysitter in the future.

Javae looked after my son who is 18 months for a few days. She was great with him, very patient, did a lot of activities, nap time, feeding etc...
She is very kind and trustworthy. I felt safe with with her in my home and trusted that my son was being well taken care of.

Javae worked for us as a temporary full time nanny position for a maternity cover. She looked after our two boys aged 7 months and 3 years from Nov 2022 to Mar 2023. She quickly made a bond with both the boys. She was very patient, engaged and attentive towards our boys.

Javae has been looking after our 1 yr old and instantly became a wonderful addition to his young life. She is effortlessly attentive to his needs, patient and very thoughtful. She engages his development in creative ways and makes sure they get outside for fresh air. She also cooks brilliantly for him when needed. Javae communicates efficiently, alway tidies up and easy is to be around.

Javae watched our 3yr old son while we were on a long trip to London. She was amazing with him! She prepared his meals (leaving the kitchen spotless), played so well with him (I overheard them singing together a few times, so sweet) and organised brilliant activities to keep him stimulated. Javae is also a great communicator, very relaxed and brings a great energy with her. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Javae has been looked after our 3 year old for the past year for 2 a week as well as doing school drop off / pickup for his older sister (7). Now our 3 year old is 4 and starting school.
She is lovely and does lots of activities with kids as well a teaching practical toddler skills (putting on shoes and coats etc) cooks well getting the kids to try new things and maintains consistent discipline. The kids had a great rapport and respect for her as did we.

Javae has been looked after our 3 year in the afternoon, 3 days a week for the past year, and did school pickup for his older brother (8). Now our 3 year old is 4 and starting school.
We are all very sorry to see Javae go. She is a lovely person, plays brilliantly with kids, cooks well and maintains discipline. She is also very thoughtful. I can't recommend her highly enough.

Javae has been with our (now 11 month old) son for 3 months and is absolutely brilliant. She is kind, patient and fun. She teaches him new things, is fully engaged the whole time, and makes sure they get outside for fresh air. She also cooks brilliantly for him when needed. Javae communicates efficiently, alway tidies up and really pleasant to be around. She also sings beautifully!
I highly recommend Javae and am sort of gutted we got our nursery spot, otherwise I know we’d be with her for a long time!

Javae worked with us during 2020, looking after our 1yr old son every day. She was great with him, patient, supportive and brought order to an otherwise chaotic time. She has a very calm manner and did everything we wanted and more, including preparing food (her immaculately laid out snack bowls were a hit), changing him and putting him to bed. She was patient enough to keep reading the same books over and over again, and singing the songs he wanted to hear. He adored her and was always sad when she left at the end of the day.
