My Summary

My Experience

My most recent experience has involved working in loco parentis, as a live in nanny 60-120 hrs per week with one 8 month old. I’ve been a solo care nanny to 10 children under the age of 2, and 6 more children aged between 3 - 7 years old. My previous jobs have consisted of being a creative activity planner with the company ‘The Kids’ Table’ and working at a preschool nursery called ‘Little Jungle’.

Caring for and teaching children has always been a passion for me in life. I go to church weekly and care for up to 11 children at a time, whether it's teaching music, giving newborn mothers a break, helping out busy parents or just for the pure joy of it.

Having volunteered at a summer school and worked at a daycare for pre-schoolers, as well as a nursery, I have gained extensive experience on how to entertain children in a way that also educates. I love all pets and strive to maintain a nurturing relationship and warm environment for children in my care.

My Qualifications

I don’t have any qualifications relating to childcare, however I have been fully trained, via a prepped course I enrolled on, to be completely aware of safeguarding and how to deal with children in any situation that could possibly arise in ways that would benefit that child's well-being and growth. I also have a clean DBS and a paediatric first aid certificate.
