My Experience

My most recent role involved working in loco parentis as a live-in nanny, providing 60–120 hours of care per week for an eight-month-old child. I have served as a solo-care nanny for ten children under the age of two, as well as eight additional children aged three to seven. My previous experience also includes working as a Creative Activity Planner with The Kids’ Table and as a member of the team at Little Jungle preschool nursery.

Caring for and teaching children has always been a true passion of mine. I attend church weekly, where I regularly look after groups of up to eleven children—whether I am teaching music, supporting new mothers, assisting busy parents, or simply helping out for the joy of being with the children.

Through my volunteer work at a summer school and my roles in a preschool daycare and nursery, I have gained extensive experience in engaging children in activities that are both enjoyable and educational. I have a genuine love for my work and strive to create a nurturing, supportive, and warm environment.

My Qualifications

While I do not have formal childcare qualifications, I have completed thorough training through a preparatory course. I was able to strengthen my safeguarding skills, and learnt how to respond confidently to a wide range of situations. This enables me to support each child’s safety, well-being, and development with genuine care. I also hold a clean DBS check, a paediatric first aid certificate and 6 years of experience with all ages.

• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)
