About Me
Hi, my names Marie-Louise. I'm a registered childminder working in Teesville. I live with my husband who is also my registered assistant and our two children. I love providing care and learning experiences for the children I mind. I offer care to all ages and I can do school pick ups to and from St Margaret Clitherows in Southbank.
My Experience
I have been a registered childminder since 2008 and I've loved every minute of it. I've always loved being around children and think they are all amazing.
I follow the EYFS and provide fun learning experiences for all the children in my care.
My most recent Ofsted inspection I was graded 'Good' in all areas. The following statements are taken from my report.
"The childminder places a strong emphasis on children learning through play. She provides them with effective support to ensure they make good progress across all areas of learning and development, taking into account their starting points"
"The childminder provides the children with a warm, friendly and welcoming environment. They have access to a good range of stimulating resources, helping to promote their development and supporting their emotional well-being. Effective settling-in procedures ensure that parents are involved from the beginning. The childminder works closely with parents during this time to share relevant information about their children, including likes, dislikes and care routines. As a result, children are well supported in their transition from home into the setting, which ensures the children settle quickly in their new environment"
"Children form secure attachments and positive relationships with the childminder and her family. The childminder is kind and caring, and she responds sensitively to the children's individual needs"
