About Me

Dear parents,

My name is Elena Sotos and I am a 28 years old Spanish girl living in London.
I am currently working in a Nursery School in Putney and looking for an extra job for evenings and weekends on an ad hoc basis for weekends. I am about to finish my university studies, so soon I will get the BA in Primary Education what will allow me to obtain the QTS. I already have level 2 in childcare and autism.
During all my life I always had a special interest in children and I have always been clear about working with children and have worked as a nanny and tutor for ten years. However, during the three years I have been working in London have been trained through courses and training related to child care making me have a strong and deep knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and nursery duties. I have 10 years experience as nanny, tutor and aupair so my full work experience gave me the experience in working with children from 0 to 16 years old, but my current job gave me the opportunity to focus on early years (0-5 years).
I have DBS certificate, Paediatric First Aid Certificate and Food hygiene course.
I am a very active and organized person offering a childcare service full of activities such as music, outdoors, play dates, art and crafts... While performing my tasks, I like to establish a warming relationship of love and respect with children, in order to support them with their personal growth and contribute to the widening of their horizons. Also if you would be interested, I could perform activities in Spanish as it is something I love, teaching my mother language, and in the future I would love to specialize as Early Years Spanish Teacher.
To sum up, I personally think I am an open, responsible and cheerful person with a special gift for dealing with children and motivate and help them in their social, physical and emotional development and prepared to tackle with any arising matter. And that is the main reason for applying for this job: self-fulfillment and help others to grow too.
