My Experience

When my own children were small I worked as a childminder caring for children in my own home - once my family were older I began work as a practitioner in a local private nursery school.
I worked in this setting for 11 years during which time I attended many courses and gained the following qualifications:
Level 2 childcare
First Aid
Working with children with additional needs (SENCO)
Child Protection
Food Hygiene
Grade A Diploma in Pre-School Practice- Level 3
I progressed to leading a team of other practitioners - delivering the EYFS Curriculum to children ranging from 2-4 years. I also planned the curriculum for the whole school. I also organised and ran school holiday clubs for children ranging from 2-8 years.
Eventually I moved away from the area and decided to take a career change and having been providing private nannying services to families for the last 6 years.
I am experienced in caring for children of any age including newborns, and am very happy to cover every aspect of childcare including children’s laundry - cooking fresh healthy meals - driving to and from clubs/activities/toddler groups etc and helping with homework.

My Qualifications

Level Two NVQ Certificate in Early Years Care.

Grade A Diploma (Level 3) in Pre-School Practice.

First Aid.

I was also responsible for Special Educational Needs co-ordination within the School, and was the official 'Responsible Person' for Child Protection.

My Availability

I am available to work on a part time basis on Tuesdays,Wednesdays and Thursdays.

My Fees

• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
