Johanne has an extensive knowledge of child development which enables her to encourage, teach and develop knowlage at the approate moments with in the stage of development.
When working with children I draw on Pikeler, RIE, Montessori approaches aswell as Norland, I draw on my knowledge of play therapy and positive discipline when behaviour issues come up. All of these approaches are available in the internet if you want to build a picture of what my child care style might look like.
Johanne is enthusiastic about childcare especially when it puts the child’s needs first and believes that continuity between professionals and parents is essential to the well-being of children.

My Experience
October 2021 to Nov 22
Supporting first time parents with a little boy who has Crohn's disease which is very rare in 15 month olds. Helping him meet his developmental milestones and supporting with cooking.
October 2020 to May 2022
Support working parents with 4 children twins 18 month old and twins 7 years old. Following the childrens intrests proving in door and out doors activities and nursery duties.
May 2020 to June 2020
Nanny (Cambridgeshire)
Temporary nanny position with a family from the states rural estate location. Helped parents fix some the one year olds unwanted habits related to sleeping and eating.
February 2015 to March 2020 Nanny (London)
Working with a 5 year old helping Mum and Dad get
him to get into London schools i use a combination of Montessori and learning through play always following the child and always fun.
Temporary positions
Helping Grandparents care for their 8 month and 3 year old grand children while Mum and Dad where on holiday. Proving activities, playing, cooking, and bathing as grandma had arm in a sling. (Salisbury 1 week February 2015)
