About Me
We live in CB4, within walking distance of the centre of Cambridge. I work at the University and my husband works nearby but often travels.
My Requirements
Role for nanny to look after three children (two girls (11 and 9) and a boy (5)) from January 2023. This is maternity cover whilst our current nanny is on maternity leave.
The role is to collect the children from school and take them to after school activities which are local. The role holder would be expected to give the children dinner, help the younger son with reading and supervise the older children with homework. There is some flexibility with hours, with some additional hours possible for housekeeping, but as a minimum we need:
3-6.30pm on Monday and Wednesday
The role can be term time only or with extended hours in the holidays on those days. It might suit an undergraduate University student studying education for example, or a PhD student.
Other requirements:
* Non smoker
* DBS check
* Previous experience of looking after children
* Driver desirable but not essential
Good rates of pay for the right candidate.

Joolz, has been working for us as a nanny for 5 years. She initially came to us full time when her other family had a break due to maternity leave but has continued working for us on a part time basis ever since.
She is a fantastic nanny, and always comes with activities in mind for the children, which are appropriate for their ages (now 3, 7 and 9). She likes to get out and about with the children and they often visit parks and the botanic gardens or attend holiday events in the museums. Prior to the pandemic Joolz would take my younger child to playgroups and do a wide variety of crafts and games with him before picking the other children up from school. She is very good at responding to their interests and personalities, and is very positive and encouraging. She has been particularly helpful in supporting the children and us when they reach particular milestones, such as potty training, starting preschool or school.
She is incredibly reliable and very natural with the children. I never worry when they are in her care and they are always excited to tell me what they have been up to at the end of the day! The children are all very fond of her and look forward to their days with her.
I could not recommend Joolz more highly!
