About Me

Hi Families :)

My name is Daniella, and I'm 31 years old.

As an experienced childcare professional with a passion for child development, I am excited to offer my skills and experience to assist families in need of quality childcare. Having over 12 years’ experience working as a nanny and in various school settings, I have honed my ability to connect with children of all ages and build positive relationships with them. I believe it is extremely rewarding knowing you have contributed to a child’s development in knowledge and character, helping to shape their future for the better.

I consider myself an energetic and nature-loving nanny who enjoys the outdoors. I have a great affinity for nature and animals, and I am enthusiastic about taking the children I care for on various exciting adventures outside. I believe my outgoing, kind, and caring personality, coupled with my strong work ethic and self-motivation, makes me an ideal candidate for any childcare position. I prioritise the safety and well-being of the children under my care, and I am committed to providing a nurturing, stimulating, and supportive environment for their growth and development.

Thank you for taking the time to read through my profile. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me :)

Kind regards,

Daniella

My Experience

With over 12 years of experience as a nanny and in various school settings, I have developed a diverse skill set in caring for and working with children from 1.5 - 16 years old.

As a nanny, I have provided a range of services to families, including:
•Getting the children ready for school •Preparing nutritious meals •Running errands •Organising creative and stimulating activities
•Homework assistance •Organising and hosting play dates •Booking appointments •Attending toddler playgroups •Planning fun days out during the school holidays •Dog walking •Managing the bath and bedtime routine.
I believe that fostering a stable and stimulating environment is key to enabling children to grow and thrive, both academically and emotionally.

Whilst teaching in primary schools, I demonstrated my passion and commitment to supporting children's learning and well-being, engaging in a range of duties such as:
•Planning and implementing lessons across the curriculum, ensuring they were tailored to individual learning styles and needs.  •Assessing progress and setting personalised goals •Supporting children with additional needs (Autism, Downs Syndrome, and ADHD) • Teaching children in small and large groups, as well as whole class.  •Providing 1:1 support • A balance of teacher-led and child-centred learning •Supporting children academically, socially, and emotionally, helping to build their confidence and self-esteem whilst encouraging the formation of friendship with their peers.

I have also been involved in coaching children in sports, having managed my own after-school netball club for children in KS1 and KS2. Additionally, I supported the running of a breakfast club on weekday mornings, welcoming children and ensuring they got the best start to their school day.
