My Experience

I have over 20 years of experience working with children and young people in a variety of educational settings. My background includes working as a qualified class teacher in primary schools, Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), private tutor, youth worker, nanny and Ofsted Registered Childminder, giving me a broad understanding of how children learn and develop.

I have extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of special educational needs and disabilities, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, PDA, SEMH and anxiety. I understand that every child is unique and adapt my teaching style to meet their individual needs, helping them to build confidence as well as academic skills.

I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of successful learning. I take time to get to know each child, identify their strengths and interests, and create engaging, personalised lessons that help them feel safe, motivated and ready to learn.

My teaching style is calm, positive, patient and encouraging. I break learning into manageable steps, celebrate progress and adapt lessons to suit each child's pace. My aim is to help children develop confidence, resilience and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
