About Me
I have twin girls who are 7. We are an active family and spend a lot of time walking, swimming and at the beach in all weathers. We also enjoy cooking and doing lots of creative learning at home.
I grew up in London and moved to Sussex when my children were born.
My Experience
I have been a teacher for 15 years teaching in both state and independent schools. I spent 10 years teaching in London and continued my career in Sussex when I made the move to this part of the country. I have continued to teach and work as a tutor and part time teacher. Prior to training as a teacher I had extensive experience as a nanny, babysitter, tutor, youth worker and nursery nurse. I also had a variety of office and retail positions while at university.
My school teaching experience is mainly in early years, year 1 and year 2 but have taught across the whole primary age range in schools. As a private tutor I teach children in KS2. I have recently become a registered childminder and have a real passion and enthusiasm for early years education. I am looking forward to welcoming children to my setting.
