I am a qualified nursery nurse and have two children of my own aged 22 and 19.
Before having my own children I worked in a pre school and have also been a nanny to some lovely families one having triplets. I have also enjoyed helping out at my children’s school with a wide range of activities from craft days to forest school and school day trips. So have had experience in a wide range of ages.
I have a clean driving license and own my own car with business class insurance.
I enjoy taking the children to the park, exploring the woods and splashing about in muddy puddles, forest school. feeding the ducks, visiting the library to choose books and story time/baby rhyme time, action tots, playgroups and classes such as little monsters and toddler sense, little bees. Lovely days out to the farm or Hertfordshire zoo, staying at home on rainy days playing play dough, painting, puzzles and story time. Dancing singing and having fun.

Emma was nanny to our son from 12 months to 2.5 years and was great with him. She was involved in all aspects of his care such as dressing him, preparing meals, getting him down for naps, taking him out to various groups each day and making sure he was happy and entertained when home.
Emma has been a dedicated, reliable, and caring nanny throughout her time with us. Most importantly, Emma formed a genuinely warm and loving bond with our son and he was always safe and secure in her care. She is very attentive, nurturing, and sensitive to a child’s needs. She was always responsive and present with him and has an ability to help a young child feel calm and understood; our son always ended his days with her regulated and happy.

Emma has been looking after our child for almost 3 years. If we could keep Emma forever we would but as our child is starting school in September it's time for another family to experience the kindness and gentleness she has shown our child.
Our child adores Emma. She is patient, loving and completely child focused. Emma has been with our son as he learnt to walk, transitioned to no naps, potty training, teething, illness, starting pre school and throughout all the milestones Emma has been a constant support to our child, always ensuring he feels safe and comfortable.
Emma has excellent knowledge of the local activities for children and makes the effort to research things that she thinks our child might like. Emma has endless patience for play and has a fantastic approach to learning through play.
Our whole family will miss seeing Emma most days a week but we know her next family will be so lucky to have her.
