My Experience

I am an experienced nanny and can provide references.
I have been Ofsted registered and am waiting to find a new family to register again.


Last year I spent some time travelling across Latin America and whilst I was there I did several work away jobs looking after children whilst learning Spanish.

Throughout my time living in York I have always helped very closley with a family in which the mother has Asperger's and CPSTD and her daughter was home schooled. They answered an advert I posted offering help in around 2015. I have worked with the family for many years and am so proud to say the daughter has just been offered a place at Leeds Art College. Working closley with this family was an amazing experience and we continute to be very close friends and I am always here to support them in their endeavours.

I have experience with very young babies and toddlers and helped run a group for this age in Bristol called Baby Sensory. Activities included soft play as well as exercises based on learning about the world around us using our senses. We would use music, for example making a baby band, and texture such as finding things in sand.

During a time living in Sheffield, I ran a craft group with elderly residents of a nursing home where I was also a cleaner. I would have to come up with tasks that were suitable for all abilities and we had a lot of fun. This was an amazing way to get the residents socialising, and because of the activities that we did it would prompt them to reminisce about their lives, which they did not seem to get much of a chance to do otherwise.

When I lived in York last, I cared one on one for an elderly lady. I really loved this job as we both learnt a lot from each other. She had very bad arthritis so wasn't very mobile. I would clean her house, cook her meals and help with personal care. She had been a very creative lady and throughout her life, had knitted and embroidered but sadly was unable to do this anymore. We would look over her old creations and she would teach me the skills she knew.


I partook in work experience in Appelfields SEN School. This was an amazing experience and I always thought this is something I would like to return to. I helped in the class room with children and young adults. We also went on school trips, one to the swimming baths and the other to York art gallery. I had an amazing opportunity while there to observe in the autistic unit.

I love working with all different types of people helping them acheave the best they can in life!

My Qualifications

I have 10 GCSEs, A National Diploma in fashion and clothing and a HND in Jewellery with a further year BA

My Availability

I am available at all time of the day. My weeks are very flexible.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Nannying from £11.00 per hour (gross)

I am able to discuss fees with the individual.
