My Experience

I am a qualified primary school teacher and SENCo with extensive experience supporting children across a range of ages and needs. My background includes leading learning in the classroom, as well as coordinating and overseeing provision for pupils with special educational needs, ensuring they receive the right support to thrive both academically and personally.

Before becoming a teacher, I worked as a SEND Teaching Assistant, providing targeted 1:1 and small group support to children with additional needs, helping to build confidence, communication, and independence. Earlier in my career, I worked as a private nanny, caring for children in a home environment and supporting their early development through nurturing, play-based learning and consistent routines.

Across all roles, I have developed a calm, caring and adaptable approach, with a strong focus on building positive relationships and meeting each child where they are. I am passionate about creating safe, supportive environments where children feel understood, valued, and able to reach their full potential
