About Me
Hello,
I live in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, and have a 7 month old daughter. I am looking for a nanny position where the family are happy for me to bring my daughter with me.
I have been a nanny for 11 years now. My longest position lasted six years. I am very close with the families I have previously worked for, where i still visit and see the children. I built a very good working relationship with the parents too - who I miss as much as the children!
I can confidently say that I can turn my hand to pretty much anything. I am happy to help around the house, and in previous positions I have simply taken the initiative to clean up and tidy when needed, doing the washing, unloading the dishwasher, empty the bin, etc.
I am happy to go beyond the "norm" of childcare duties. I work very well under pressure and am extremly competent with all ages.
I take pride in my work and always put in 100% to everything I do. I am reliable, punctual and trustworthy. I am responsible, mature and always have the children's best interests at heart. I feel I am naturally good with children; being enthusiastic and connecting virtually straight away.
I have excellent written references, who can all be contacted; a full drivers licence, and my own car. I have a CRB certificate which is on an automatic update. I am happy to send my CV along with my written references and other paperwork at your request.
I thoroughly enjoy working with children, and am happy around all pets ...

I would describe myself as a happy person, firm but fair with children, with their safety, health and development being first and foremost. Using discretion and initiative are daily requirements of my job and something I fulfil very well.

My Experience
School GCSEs gaining A-B in all subjects. English being my strongest subject.
College advanced qualification in Health and social care.
Degree - Social Work. Completed one year of work experience too with adults with disabilities and also children with challenging behavioural problems.
11 years of childcare in nannying, living all over the country and with all children.
I have my own child - so pregnancy and new born experience i have.
Excellent references are available should you require them.

I am ideally looking for three to four days a week.
My Fees
- Nannying from £10.00 per hour (gross)
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
£10 per hour, although happy to discuss rate of pay.
