About Me
I provide a happy, safe and secure home for all children attending my setting. Children will learn and develop through play. Progress development is monitored in line with the EYFS and Development Matters. I regularly take the children to local playgroups and parks and enjoy watching them achieve their milestones and thrive into confident and happy children. I live with my husband and 2 older children in a pet free, smoke free home with a secure garden.
My Experience
I am a mother to three children and have been childminding for 16 years caring for children on a long term bases from babies until leaving primary school. I regularly attend borough training courses and meet with the Early Years team at various playgroups and arranged fun days.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma For The Children and Young People's Workforce
Current First Aid Certificate Held
Member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years)
Various training courses attended relating to child care including Sign along and Safeguarding.
My Availability
Open fron 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (These hours are a guidance I am very flexible )

- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
full day £60 a day max 10 hours per day
Half day £30 max 5 hours.
I accept government funding for 9months 2 years and 3 and 4 year funding

Our son was just a baby when he joined Liz's care and was with her until he nearly turned 5 to go to school. Her open communication and reassuring way gave us confidence from day one and it was clear from the start that he absolutely loved her. Liz has provided a fantastic stimulating and educational setting for our child - both at home and within the local community - she makes everyday meaningful. It is clear how much she invests in the children she looks after, our son has thrived in every way and we know it is due to the learning opportunities, social activities and routine that she has provided. I love hearing him singing new songs he's learnt and telling me about the fun activities he's been playing with his friends and his Lizzie. Liz's care extended far beyond duty, she has always been there for us in moments of emergency, even helping with school pick-ups for our older son who also adores her. She has given our children memories we'll treasure forever. We wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a childminder who blends professionalism with deep compassion and care.

My daughter was going to Liz from around 6 months when I had to return to work. She literally made the whole process so much easier; so kind and welcoming and definitely felt my daughter was in safe hands. So much so, my daughter is now 3.5 and Liz is having her again for the summer holidays! Was like we never left and I hope we don’t ever have to find another Liz…. She’s one of a kind and daughter absolutely loves her (as do we) 🙂

Liz looks after my youngest daughter and also cares for my older daughter every Wednesday after nursery. From the very beginning, she treated my youngest like part of the family, creating a warm, supportive, and nurturing environment.
She played a huge role in helping my daughter develop her speech and reach her early learning goals, always encouraging her through engaging and thoughtful activities. Liz provided daily fun and stimulation, including weekly toddler groups (three times a week), regular library trips, and visits to the park – all of which my girls looked forward to.
Liz has been more than just a childminder – she’s been a vital support network for our family. My daughters always felt safe, happy, and loved in her care.
Sadly, we’ve had to move out of the area, and leaving Liz’s setting is going to be incredibly hard. We are truly gutted to go, and anyone lucky enough to have Liz as their childminder is in the very best hands. You really do feel like your child is in a caring home environment.
