About Us
Oak Farm Infant School is a day school for boys and girls, aged between 3 and 7 years. Our school is set in spacious grounds, surrounded by hard playing areas and fields with mature trees and an environmental area.
The Nursery is part of the Infant School and is set in a separate building with its own play area.
Oak Farm Infant School aims to provide a welcoming, lively and stimulating atmosphere in which young children may grow, feel secure and realise their full potential at their own speed. This welcome extends to our parents and carers too. The teaching staff use the best of current educational practice to provide an interesting and balanced curriculum. Acquisition of the basic skills is considered to be extremely important.
We aim for the children to enjoy their time in this school, make good progress and grow up with a positive self-image and respect for individuality. We work toward developing children to think for themselves and feel for others.
Oak Farm Children's Centre is part of the Infant School.
Our Childcare Provision
Breakfast Club
The Breakfast Club is available to any child in the nursery or school. We provide a warm, friendly environment where children can have breakfast and be taken to their classes ready to start the school day.
The breakfast club starts at 7.30 am and finishes at 8.50 am. All children should be brought into the squirrel huts and no child should arrive before 7:30am. For booking and costs please contact the main office on 01895-234375.
Nursery Lunch Club
The lunch club runs between 11.40am and 12.40pm. The cost is £4.50 per child and children are expected to bring a healthy packed lunch to eat after which they have the opportunity to join in a range of activities, similar to those in the nursery. A booking form must be completed in advance for your child to attend. Please contact the main office for details.
After School Club
