About Me
Hi, my name is Sharon Whittaker, I am a GOOD ofsted registered childminder, I hold paediatric first aid and food hygiene to name but a few.
We currently have a space available, so please feel free to enquire with us.
I work alongside my husband Matt who is also paediatric first aid trained. We pride ourselves on being an extended family to all the children that we care for and often go the extra mile to help families where needed. We had our Ofsted inspection in February 2025 and we are pleased to say we have been awarded a Good in all areas!
The children that are in our care feel safe, secure and well cared for, this gives them a platform to develop in all areas while being in the comfort of a home from home setting.
We have 4 wonderful children ages 23 19, 10 and 8 year old, we also have 2 dogs named Freddie and Kensey who are 6 and 4 year old and very friendly and good natured.
We provide child care for children from birth onwards, full and part time. We also provide childcare, before and after school for Hoddlesden St Pauls primary school and also holiday care.

My Experience
I have 23 years experience of being a mummy to 4 beautiful children, I have also looked after my niece and nephew who are now 21 and 16, I have looked after them since birth.
I have now been a childminder for almost 9 years.
There is nothing better to me than hearing children laughing and having fun and all the time they are learning and developing. My ethos is to Learn Laugh and Have Fun!
My Qualifications
I hold certificates for safeguarding, paediatric first aid. I have an NVQ3 in health care.
My Availability
We have one space available due to changes in a parent’s circumstances, please contact as soon as possible as this place will go quickly.
We do have a waiting list that can be joined and currently have babies on the list for June 2026.
We are currently full for before and after school for St. Paul's Hoddlesden.
We also offer care for school children in the school holidays, please message me for fees.
